2016 Mazda 3 should appear in more aggressive and more sporty look, but at the same time with enough elegance, luxury and with a lot of new tech features.
EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR CHANGES
2016 Mazda 3 will represent fourth generation of this model from Japanese company, Mazda Motor Corporation. This model is the best selling model from the company. Now it has to fulfill the expectations of the old customers and to attract many new. New Mazda’s model is coming with redesigned front bumper for more aggressive look and better aerodynamics of the car. On the front end we will also see the new front grille which will be more stylish and powerful. Headlights as well as the taillights will also go through a redesign. It will be totally new, angular and way more aggressive. Lights will be improved with new fog lights, which will help during bad and poor weather condition driving. 2016 Mazda 3 will come with redesigned hood, with some new exterior colors, new alloy wheels sizes and some beautiful chrome details. Rumors say that the engineers have used some lightweight materials, such as carbon fiber and aluminum. It looks like they wanted to reduce weight of the vehicle and even more improve performances and fuel consumption. The interior of new Mazda 3 will be very spacious with ability to accommodate up to 5 passengers. Cabin will be equipped with high quality materials and with a lot of brushed chrome and fine soft fabrics details. 2016 Mazda 3 will have the latest technological features such as 7 inches touch screen display with access to the internet radio, web, e mail etc. It will be also equipped with Bose audio system, Bluetooth, USB, Smartphone connectivity and many other great features.
2016 MAZDA 3 POWERTRAIN
When it comes to the performances of new 2016 Mazda 3, under the hood will be probably 2.0 liter SkyActiv engine which produces 155 horsepower. Beside this engine, new model will also be powered with 2.5 liter power unit. This engine is capable to produce around 185 horsepower. According to some rumors, it is expected that the new model will have SkyActiv diesel engine option, but we still do not have enough information. New Mazda 6 will have 6 speed manual transmission as standard as well as optional 6 speed automatic transmission. For the first time in Mazda 3, power will be transmitted to all four wheels.
RELEASE DATE AND EXPECTED PRICE
2016 Mazda 3 should hit the showrooms sometime in the second half of 2015, as 2016 year model. The expected base price for this beautiful vehicle will be around $18,000.
